Ausdrill Ford Rising Stars Racing Team started the race weekend at Queensland with a twenty second position in race one.

“Michael made excellent progress from our grid twenty seventh position to move through to twenty second in race one. Adding to the team’s improvement was him recording the seventeenth fastest race lap”, Team Owner, Jim Morton said. “Michael has made the largest gain so far in terms of coming to grips with the cars brakes and we can now look to move to the next level”.

FRSR welcomed guests from long term supporters, Colourscan Creative Print who has been a V8 Supercar flagship sponsor in the past.

“I was very happy today as the car was great and I am now feeling comfortable racing and competing for positions”, Michael Patrizi said. “Once again it was my first time racing a touring car at Queensland Raceway and I was able to improve on my qualifying performance in the racing as we got more at one with the track”.
